well ive been stressed recently..i keep on keeping this matter by myself..i acted as if im fine,when in fact,im not!!!my patience had its own limit?what d you think i am?a robot?i had the fragile feelings and i cried when theres no one around!what the hell with my life??????why i keep on havin problems all the time??im so stressed up!!!!!immature kidz,you dont know what life means...education was important but ur most top priority was fun!!!!!!wait till youre big enough to know whats important in life...you wouldnt want to end up jobless in ur lifetime..would you???????if i were you,i wouldnt want to end up jobless..good advices should be taken for our own sake..those elders had live far more earlier than us...get involve with them to find out whats important in life..

F.T. Island's first album was scheduled to be released commercially in May 2007.[2] However, instead of releasing the album as planned, all of the members appeared on a television program called “Dugeun Dugeun Yeochinmandeulgi” (Korean: 두근두근 여친만들기) on the Korean television channel MNet. The program title is officially translated by MNet as "Wanna Be My Girlfriend?" although "두근두근" refers to the sound a heart makes.[3] The band also performed on stage live at Rolling Hall and held their first official showcase at Live House Melon-AX, Gwangjang-dong in Seoul on May 27, 2007.[4] On June 7, 2007 F.T. Island performed their debut song on the music television program M!Countdown.[5]Not only this but also they amazed people by winning their first best song award on M!Countdown by beating top artists such as Dynamic Duo and Fly To The Sky in just 2 weeks after debuting.


[edit] Cheerful Sensibility
Their first album Cheerful Sensibility combined 13 songs that can be divided into 2 parts: “Emotional Chapter” and “FT Island Chapter” respectively according to the style of the song in the album. For the “Emotional Chapter”, the genre is rock ballad oriented which produced by the composers who work for many songs of famous Korean singer such as SG Wannabe. The other part, “FT Island Chapter”, tend to be the upbeat pop-rock oriented style, which was produced by the Japanese famous composers participating with the Japanese band, SMAP.[6] The album sold 79,786 copies in 2007, making it the sixth best-selling album of the year[7].

The album was re-released on December 3, 2007 and it was named "The Refreshment". In addition to three extra songs, the package also included various extras, including a photobook, a stack of photocards, and a mixing program called Music 2.0 which allows one to adjust the levels of the instruments and vocals accordingly. This edition sold 25,724 copies in December 2007[7]

The group was scheduled to hold their first concert in Malaysia on March 30, 2008, at Sunway Lagoon Amphitheater. On the day before the concert, they held an autograph session at Damansara Cineleisure. A special version of their debut album has been released in mid-February. However, the concert was suddenly cancelled, with no explanation given.

On April 12, 2008, the group held their first concert in Thailand, at the Royal Paragon Hall. In addition to playing material from their album, each member of the group had their own solos as well..


[edit] 2008: Japanese Debut
F.T. Island's Japanese debut album, entitled Prologue of FT Island, was released on 7th June 2008, with the first single released being "Soyogi". The album consists of 8 songs, 2 of which are newer versions of the original songs "FT Island" and "Primadonna". The last track, "Always Be Mine", is an English version of "First Kiss". However, the lyrics are not translated, but completely original. [8] A music video has been released for "Soyogi" and "Friendship".


[edit] Colorful Sensibility
Their second album reveals a more mature and angsty side of the band. The first song released from the album is After Love (사랑후애). They have also recently released a new MV, of the song Heaven, from Part 2 of Colourful Sensibility, just like how Cheerful Sensibility had the Refreshment, with 3 new songs.

The single "The One" is the first Japanese single. The single released on the 17th December 2008. One day later is was announced that F.T Island made it onto the "Japanese Oricon Daily Charts". This achievement means the band is gaining popularity in Japan. They got the 9th rank. According to F&C Music this is the reason: "Other Korean bands utilized the assistance of large Japanese record labels to gain popularity, but FT Island was able to make it onto the charts without any true marketing efforts."[9]


[edit] Other works
Member Lee Jae Jin was a castmember of KBS's sitcom Unstoppable Marriage. The other members made a cameo appearance. In this sitcom Lee Jae Jin plays the role of Wang Sa Baek (Sim Mal Yeon's fourth son), and appears regularly on the show.

Member Lee Hong Ki debuted 6 years ago on a kid's sitcom KBS2's Magic Kid Masuri as the main character, Masuri. This sitcom gained explosive popularity among elementary school students.

Hong Ki has also been on many other shows, such as Becoming a Good Daddy (SBS), Monwonaehangbok (Happy Shares Company) (MBC), Family Outing (SBS), and more. Lee Hong Ki was also casted in a show that is coming this 2009.

As well, Choi Minhwan is in a sitcom this coming 2009.

FT Island are also hosting MBC Every 1 Idol Army Season 2. Total of 13 episode.

We saved the best for last. This is the final artiste of the week for 2008 and we are proudly featuring Dong Bang Shin Ki (DBSK), one of the most well-known k-pop groups in the world. Dong Bang Shin Ki (DBSK) debuted alongside BoA on Dec 26th, 2003 by singing their single Hug, and then O Holy Night with her. They released two singles, Hug & The Way U Are, and later released a full-length album Tri-Angle in October 2004. DBSK were very well received, winning multiple New Group awards. Unfortunately, there was some fear in the beginning of them being a rotation group with a focus in the Chinese market. However this was later abandoned.





Instead, SM decided to have DBSK set their focus on Japan. They released Stay with me Tonight on April 27, 2005. They did start to release more singles in Japan, but came back to Korea later in the year for their new album Rising Sun. This helped them win Artist of the Year at the Mnet KM Music Video Festival. During this time Jaejoong suffered a knee injury, which happened during rehearsal and made him sit out activities. After this they embarked on the Rising Sun Tour, visiting Malayasia, China, Japan and others.





DBSK then released a third Korean album "O"-正.反.合. on Sept 29, 2006. This was later re-released with the added track of Balloons portraying a new cute image for the band. They worked hard during this time, releasing a drama DVD Vacation and appearing on a variety of shows such as Love Letter & X-Man. The end of 2006 turned out to be hard as they faced the return of Jaejoong's birth parents in a custody battle and an anti-fan spiked Yunho's drink with super glue.





Then they set out to do activities abroad. First, they started with the second Asia tour concert for "O"-正.反.合., and then new activities in Japan. By then they had continued their Japanese studies to the point where they were now fluent in Japanese. They had the album release of Five in the Black along with a lot of singles. This also led to a Five in the Black tour. One single that brought them a lot of recognition was Summer Dream. They also started a radio station called Bigeast in Japan.





Into the new year of 2008, there were a lot of new singles such as Purpline Line & TRICK, which involved a solo from each member. There was allso the T album, and a tour. Purple Line became the first single by a foreign male group to top the Oricon weekly sales. On May 17, 2008 DBSK came to LA, California, to attend the Hollywood Bowl Korean Music Festival, showing their popularity had expanded beyond Asia.





They embarked on a new image for Sept 26, 2008 as DBSK returned to Korea with a big comeback album Mirotic. So far this has sold 466,814 copies. It landed them the MKMF Best Album of the Year & the Golden Disk Awards Daesung. However there has been an issue with a lyric change by the Youth Commission raising some controversy. The C repackage of this album featured some of their own written and composed songs, such as Yoochun's Love Bye Love & Jaejoong's Don't Cry my Love.





It appears as though DBSK will reside in Japan for 2009 with a variety of fan meetings in January, along with the new single, Bolero. The Japanese public will have a heightened awareness of DBSK from their appearances in the Kouhaku & Japanese Record Awards. This mean, however, that they cannot attend the end-of-year festivals in Korea. Jaejoong has also been working on a new drama called Heaven's Postman in which he will play the lead, starring opposite actress Han Hyo Joo.
